I see lots of advertisements showing pills for fat reduction, i just wanted to know whether those pills are good for health and doesn’t have side effects.. i am mother of 5 months old son, after my delivery (C-section) i have gained lot of weight and i really wanted to reduce it sooner. Could anybody advise me??

All the fat reduction tablets have side effects. Best to excercise and control you diet.

Lose weight because YOU want to not because others are telling you.

How to reduce fat belly with out straining the legs?

hmm, by straining you mean high impact exercise?
If you are sort of overweight and cannot do much running in fear that your knees may get damaged, why not cycle, or go on an elliptical trainer.

But the best one i would recommend is swimming, it takes the weight off your body and helps you perform exercise across your whole body, it is a good workout.

or if you cannot afford going to the gym try going for a walk until you build enough strength in your joints for jogs or a run.

I had the same problem, but I got over it once I worked on strengthening the joints with weights and working out regularly. now I can run for 1 hour without getting tired, but I do get light headed after 50min :$

and a quick note, you cannot target fat burn, it all depends on your genetics, if you want a lean body you have to mix cardio, weights and a good diet. (don’t try supplements or pills when you start off, not good at all) Just do the normal eat less (in right quantities), move more and you’ll lose weight

How can i lose fat without losing muscle?

I lift weights and stuff so i dont want to lose my muscle while running and stuff. How i can i lose fat, but keep my muscle/ gain more muscle at same time?

Not with Acai Berry. lol. It is all a matter of nitrogen balance. Nitrogen balance is an indicator of muscular anabolism. A positive nitrogen balance means that you are in an anabolic state (building muscle), while a negative nitrogen balance means that you are in a catabolic state (breaking down tissue). Protein is made up of Carbon, Hydrogen, Oxygen, and of course Nitrogen. Dietary protein intake is what influences nitrogen balance. Regular protein intake = positive balance = anabolism. So, maintaining your current workout plan will be fine, just make sure that your protein intake is adequate enough to maintain anabolism. This is estimated to be about 1.2 g of protein per kg of bodyweight daily. Increasing dietary complex carbohydrate helps as well. It provides an abundance of quality fuel, therefore skeletal muscle protein breakdown will be minimized for metabolic purposes.


I am apparently around 22.5% body fat, in the healthy range, but there is still a stubborn layer of fat around my lower abs. What body fat percentage should I be aiming for to shed it and get visible abs?

Well I have 24% body fat and have flat, toned abs. It depends how you carry your weight.

But to have defined abs like a six pack, usually around 15%-17% body fat.
